Nutrition wise, i am really starting to dial in my diet. Its literally been only a few days and i can see and FEEL the difference. Heres the coupla changes i made .....
I work out in the morning. I HATE to eat for the few first hours after i get up, so naturally i would go to the gym about 6:00-7 and eat for the first time around 8-9:00. I wake around 5:30 - 6:00. The change is i FORCE myself to eat when i wake up, and that has made a world of difference!! Im not hungary at all during the day now. Before i would get hungary quite ofter and would drink a diet drink with an appetite suppressent that you can buy at Sams Club. Total change.
Also on the works is my timing of food and paticurlarly what to eat and when. Ive learned to eat starchyer carbs in the morning, and more fiberus ones toward evening. That has made a big difference also.
What im looking at now is ..... What type of
protein should i be eating and at what time of day.
Also, what is the healthest way to cook a potatoe. I boiled 3 last night, it took forever, and i was thinking i probably just boiled away all the nutrients!!
Here is what im looking at now approximately for my diet....
Rise @ 5:30
Eat by 5:45
Gym by 6:15 -6:30
Eat
protein rich meal after weight training 8:00
Eat balanced meal with veggies 11:00
Eat
protein/carb split 1:30
Eat balanced meal with veggies 3:30
Eat higher
protein lower (fiberus) carb meal with veggies 7:00
Eat high
protein, VERY low (if any) carb meal 10:00
Ok, i know this is far from perfect, so help me tweek myself into a fat-burning, musclebound madman.....
Also, i eat this way 6 times a week, and have 1 cheat day. I know many bodybuilders that reward their hard work this way, but how does your "cheat day" change coming into a competition. Do you not have one or have 1 or 2 "Cheat Meals" per week. I gotta have my junk food once in a while!!!
Let me know!!!!
Thanks!
