lower chest and outersides

lower chest and outersides

hey guys-

i need some help with chest exercises especially lower chest and the outer chest areas nearest the armpits. the outer chest area is not rounding out like i see on athletic guys with perfect pecs.

what sort of exercises do I need to do to target these areas?

flys! bring the elbows down as far as you can and let it burn. works great for me

Wide grip dips...

Heavy ass wide grip (though not overly wide) weighted dips will do u good..

outer chest? what is that? pectoral fibers run horizontal. can't contract a part of a fiber. it's either contracted or relaxed.

Dips Dips and more dips!! You dont have to do weighted dips. Simply pre exhaust the chest before and finish up with dips. 4 sets, chin on chest, slight angled lean, feel the muscle. 4x15 is excellent. You will probably fail to hit 15 reps each set..but try!!! For variety try 8x8 first on chest day, rest only 15-30 seconds between sets. Chest of the GODS!!

Getting leaner will help you see more pec shape also.

Dips,Super-Setted with Dumbell Pullovers will work lower pecs hard.

Do Flyes and Incline Flyes,and hold in the stretched position for a second or two during each rep..............squeeze your way to the top.
