how Arnold trained his chest

how Arnold trained his chest

Schwarzenegger i still think to this day had the best chests ever. it was massive ,and full .Arnold's favorite chest exercise was the bench press ,he would start by warming up ofcourse and then it would look something like this 5sets reps per set would be 20,15,8,6,5 he would then move on to the inclyne bench press with the same sets and reps in mind . Arnold never liked to go to full lockout ,he would keep is arms slightly bent ,Arnold would then move on to the flat bench for flyes ,he did them a little different than most people ,he would stop the movement short at the top instead of touching the dumbells at the top,he liked to stop them 10-12 inches apart to keep the tension on his pecs, this was done for about 5sets as well he would then move to parallel bar dips non lockout style 5 sets around 10 reps also,he was a big beliver in straight arm pullovers 5 sets of 10 reps in the day this was thought to be good for the ribcage and upper chest but,i feel this is more of a lat exercise .as you can see he stuck with basic stuff in the off season nothing fancy , alot of people dont belive in the bench press and ,say you get a better workout from dips and flyes ,i dont agree and , i think Arnold's 58inch chest speaks for its self .

I like in pumping iron when he is doing cable crossovers. Motivational and impressive to say the least.

pumping iron changed my life from a wanna be bodybuilder into a bodybuilder
i saw how they screemed and growled to get those last 2 reps in that normally you couldn't get and that made the difference to me
