I want to be a bodybuilder

I am currently 15 years of age and I want to turn myself into a bodybuilder. I currently weigh 210 lbs. (half muscle/fat) and I want to achieve the weight of 180 lbs. I am willing to do whatever you guys tell me to do. I was just wondering what a good plan would like what times to eat during the day and all that. There was this one diet my sister went on and lost 20 lbs and it involved eating like every two hours. Thanks

first--welcome!
15 is an awkward age--at least it was for me
what are your stats---height, body fat %, etc....
everyone here is very knowledgeable and will be able to help you design a routine that can create a body that you will be happy with
are you able to get to weights and cardio equipment 4-5 days a week?
do you have the dedication to follow through with whats said?
are you smart enough NOT to use steroids till you are way older and more informed--and this goes for andro products?
are you doing this because you want to and not to--say beat someone up?

first thing you need to learn, is to eat, train, and rest properly...you're body is gonna need plenty of protein and complex carbs to rebuild muscle from training (continually eat throughout the day, try eating every two hours like you mentioned and your body will get used to eating this regularly)...you need to train consistently without overtraining (get on a basic program lifting 3 or 4 days a week to start stressing your core lifts like bench, squat, and deadlifts and if you want to do cardio keep it light only a couple times a week if trying to add muscle)...get plenty of rest (remember your body grows, when your not in the gym, but when your resting)...there is so much to learn, but keep focused at your age and read, read, and read more...you'll find things that work for you and some things that don't...don't get frustrated it takes a lot of time and dedication... remember, your not gonna be mountain of muscle over night...take care

Couldn't have said it any better myself! at 15 its kinda hard to get the $$$$ to buy protein and supplements and stuff so just make sure you eat heaps of good food, your parents will probably think youve gone a little nutty once u start eating so regularly and when u start walking funny when your legs are sore after squats etc, hehe but just persist heaps and heaps! its all about how much you put into it is how much you will get out of it! take it easy and welcome to the site!!

oooh, and BTW how tall are you?? 180lb's sounds kinda small, but aim high tell yourself u wanna be 240lbs or rock hard mass, and u will keep the motivation a bit! also motivation has to be the biggest thing when your a younger guy, chase the girlies, lol but get a couple of FLEX mags or something else, taht has pics of the pros so that you will push yourself hard enough to want to become that!! starting at your age is a godsend!! just keep up all the usuals eat plenty of white fish's chicken breasts and beef steaks all lean! if u want to cut up a bit have some scrambled egg WHITES and leave the yolks out and stuff! but at 15 mate, you should be able to pack on a fair bit really fast provided that you maintain the motivation! seeya later!

My stats...

I e-mailed you guys the other about me wanting to be a bodybuilder. Not sure if you remember but I was the 15 year old. I am currently about 5'9", 210, and body fat % is about 20%. (not very good) I just wanted like a good diet plan...like eating two times a day. What should I eat each time, what time should I eat the carbs, and exactly what are the best things to eat. I have enough money right now to pay for meal replacements and what not. Also, what would be a good weight lifting program to be on. I know you guys are knowlegable from what I heard and seen from other people. So if you guys could tell me exactly a good training program and diet, you would help me out a ton! thanx once again

clean up your diet--no fast food, soda, ice cream, if you think its bad it probably is--i am not saying you cant have this stuff--but use it as a reward on say sundays for a good clean week. lots of chicken breasts, brown rice, veggies, low/no fat milk, tuna, eggs whites, etc....pick up one of the BB mags, they have diet tips, what you need to do is up your protein intake and decrease your carbs (pasta, french fries, cereal, etc.. ) and regulate your fat intake. i think you should start on some cardio to drop the BF% --i am thinking 5'9" 210lbs is more like 30%bf--don't worry about MRP and stuff yet build a base for yourself first

the other guys can build you a routine--or talk to one of the trainers at the gym you go to
