When I do squats I go as deep as I can without feeling joint pain. Some jackass said that I go too deep. Is there such a thing as "TOO DEEP"? What do you consider parallel; thighs parallel, or a 90 degree bend in your knees. Thanks for any input bros!
yep, that's the only way i can get my quads to really grow, is if i sit my ass on my ankles...do some really good warm up sets before going heavy and going really deep though

As a powerlifter, I squat to develop my squat, not my quads. The rules state the hip joint must be lower than the top of the knee, so that is where we squat to.
