sup dudes?

what do u think is a great combination of biceps/triceps workout stuff?

i've been doin' bar curls and 2 machine curl exercises for 6 monthss so far. i'm noticing some definitions but i really want some mass increase too

also i've been doing 3 machine triceps exercises, the arm pulldown ones

keep pumpin'

i'm not sure how long you've been lifting, but if you're just starting out and concentrating on building your arms up you should stick to doing the basic compound movements to build your whole body up first and your arms will come along with it...don't worry about just doing lots of isolated tricep and bicep lifts...doing lifts like bench, deadlifts, and squats along with a good diet and rest will pack on mass

for a beginner, is it generally better to focus on machines or free
weights? (for arms)

straight bar bicep curls 3 sets
seated alternating d-bell curls 4 sets
preacher curls--usually machine 3 sets
concentration curls 3 sets
or use this instead
standing cable curls--3 sets

cable pushdowns 4 sets
skull crushers 4 sets
close grip bench 4 sets
or
dips/w or w/o weight 4 sets

only use 3 of the exercises for each muscle
now i don't know your body but its suggested to only do 12-15 sets per body part so go with how your arms feel
