Hi....it's not my routine, actually Trevor posted it on his forum along with the rest of the BFT stuff. I don't know it off the top of my head, so you'll have to ask there...I believe you do a three or four week cycle instead of six, and you take more days off, training only two or three days a week to give yourself a massive amount of recovery time. You also have to take a longer rest period between cycles of BFT too. I train with a partner at school when I can, but you don't need one to do BFT. If you don't have one to help with the forced reps, you can do it with rest pause. You go to failure, pause for five seconds, do as many as you can, usually two, then pause again, do another one or two, pause again, and do it again. Then drop the weight and repeat, drop the weight and repeat.
I've only done a small amount of this training style due to recent events, but the three weeks where I followed it on target and did it with a partner were really phenomenal. It makes you really sore and tired as hell, but it made some visible differences in my physique, especially my legs, even after two weeks. His
protein supplement with the ton of
glutamine in it really helped keep the soreness down too. If you do try it, good luck, and I'd be interested in hearing how it works for you. Take care and enjoy!
