i have a "friend" who is in the military and is apprhensive about doing anything due to testing. anyone run into these problems before?

many times. all my boys juiced while in. the test costs $$$ they dont use it. well, i should say, i never ever heard of them testing for it. you gt caught with pins or tabs or anything, and your busted. but if your slick i bet they wont bust him.

My brother is an MP, S Sgt. in the Army. He has been in a long time, and will retire there. He used for a short time, but ripped his CV joint apart and was threatened with tests for AAS. He never was tested, but decided to quit anyway to be safe. In 13 years he has never seen anyone actually tested for them, but knows a few guys that were threatened with it. Although they have busted a few military sources in Europe in his 2 turns of duty there. Those guys were never tested for AAS either. I think if your smart about it, chances are you won't get caught or tested. But, I don't know if it worth the chance. Later

Hey bro,

The military doesn't test for juice in their routine piss tests as they test for PCP, Heroin, Cocaine, THC, Codeine, etc. As long as your friend doesn't get caught with anything, he should be good to go. I would suggest that your friend get familiar with Article 31 and the Military Rules of Evidence (MRE - Part III, Manual for Court Martials), in particular MRE 311 - MRE 315.

the military does not care about the anabolics. that is why if they suspect someone they threaten first, just to give them a warning. if it were coke related they would call you in and test you right there. look at the armed forces bodybuilding championships. they have some pretty heavy hitters in the military. they obviously juice. it is kinda like the dont as dont tell rule.

Hey Bro';

I served in uncle sams canoe club as a Naval Law Enforcement Officer,(Master at Arms), and I'll tell you right now one out of every 20 specimens is tested unless there is a suspicion of foul play. Routine testing is for drugs of abuse, cocaine,pot, tricyclics, antidepressants, etc. as mentioned above. Just don't get stupid and tell someone or talk about it openly, or, worse yet get caught with paraphinalia(sp?). Those are sure fire ways of being singled out. Just do a good smoke and mirrors show; protein shakes, creatine, etc. that is very important to C.Y.A.!
