air

air bubbles can be really bad for you or....is no big deal when I injected was a pretty big bubble and I'm ok. I thought that the only way it would be that bad for you is if you were injecting about 3cc's of air, hell when yeah go to the doctor their always seems to be a little bubble. Does anyone know the real answer?

I never inject bubbles bro. As far as problems go if you did. I know that injecting air into the blood stream can cause serious problems and even death, but I'm not sure if any harm would be done if a tiny air bubble gets into a muscle. There's always some really tiny bubbles that you can't get rid of but I would definately recommend not injecting bubbles on a regular basis bro.

Agreed. I hate to waste a drop myself, but tap it and squeeze a few SMALL drops out; actually, you will lube the needle which may inject easier, but you wont have air.

I hear alot of whining about pain or burning, being sore, and what not. Now, Im fortunate that my wife is a nurse and does me, so other than a tiny initial sting, if that, I feel nothing. EVER! Even after, no tender tissue, pressure, burning, itching, etc... She says that air can cause pain, from mild discomfort to sheer agony... depending on how much and the person, or the site.

Why would you guys even consider putting air into yourselves? Get the air out completely. Little bitty tiny bubles are probably ok but still not recommended. I couldn't imagine sticking myself with .25ccs of air. Why?

Tiny air bubbles are not going to cause you any adverse side effects. Do your best to get all the air bubbles out but if you miss one it is not going to hurt you.

Air in the vein or artery will cause serious problems, but you should not be doing this with aas! You inject into muscle tissue, and though you should never inject any amount of air, it will probably not do anything at all, except maybe cause some pain at the injection site if you inject enough air.
