I've done 5 shows is all... but I can tell you what has worked for me. Problem is that everyone is different.
First off, I did ALL my shows naturally... before I ever used any AS. So, I have NEVER used drugs to cut down for a show. So, that should tell you something. You DO NOT need all these freakin drugs to get ready for a show. They may work, but I have no experience with them, so you would have to rely on the other guys for that. I have hit the 3-4% range with just DIET AND TRAINING. Granted it is hard work, but it can be done.
My secret weapon has been Carb Depleting. As some of the guys mentioned, cutting for a show isn't the healthiest thing in the world, but it is only for a short time. Carb Depleting allows you to burn off fat and an amazing rate. I don't even like to do cardio, so I rely on the diet, even more. I cut my calories back slowly, but I take in minimal fat and zero carbs...... tons of
protein keeps you from losing muscle mass...... it's something you have to play with... lots of small meals, of course, is the only way to go.
Other than that..... it's all a head game, my friend. You have to want it bad.... you have to want it more than anybody else. That makes it a lot easier..... when you need help carrying all the trophies to your car, it makes it all worth it!!! /thumb/
