At 5'10 and 170, you are pretty thin. How long have you been training? Personally, I would hold off on running anything until you put on some weight and have spent some more time training. I make that assumption purely off of the weight you have provided--you probably arent eating enough right now and a cycle isnt going to help you if you dont consume enough food. It would be a waste of money---Id spend the money on food first and eat 7-8 times per day.
Now, if Im wrong, post up what you eat everyday, but if you arent gaining, in most cases, you arent consuming enough kcals.
Some may tell you to use an anti-e everyday, just in case--others may say to have some on hand, just in case.
As far as PCT, there is plent of information out there on this board and ProMuscle. In fact, you may want to check out the article BigA wrote about beginners--would probably be helpful.
