O/T:Opinion of police

Hey guys,
doing a paper on peoples opinion of the police? Do you hate them or appreciate them? Think their out to get you or out doing what our laws instruct them to? Thanks for the responses in advance!

Police are fine and society would not function without them.

However, you have the human element, and a lot of police greatly abuse their powers. As such, they negatively impact on people's lives and that creates society to hate them.

i've had my experiences with some cool cops and others were just dicks.

You've got your good cops and your bad cops. Some abuse there power and some don't. You can't just classify them all in the same category. I've had problems with the law many times in the past but Shit it was my fault. I broke the law and I knew that. They were just doing there job. But all in all we need cops to help maitain law and order or else we would end up like fuckin Iraq. So I think cops are good but there are a few bad seeds in the bunch so just watch out. lata

The majority of police are good people. Sure you have a few bad apples, but thats with all occupations.

You know what im gonna have to say F#@K them all !!! I can honestly say i never ran into a cool cop in my life and i had mad experiences with them. i did a 3 year bid in a state facililty for Manufacturing and Distibution and every god dam agent from the ones who raided my spot to the jerkoff's who tried to get me to flip the fuckin C. O's in the county and state were all fuckin assholes every last one of them. the worst of the worst are the fed's.... I beat a fed case in 2000 and they were the worst called my girlfriend a pig tore my house apart didnt even read me my miranda rights bc they can they play such hardball. i even had friends in H.S. that partied and even did sauce back then and when shit went down with me they thought and talked about me like i was the the biggest piece of shit on earth so i say fuck them all no matter what anybody says you could never change my mind

I have a few police officer friends and also a few deputy sherrif friends.... and shit even a detective friend. They are all and have always been very cool to me. Shit some of em even use gear.. A couple own the gym i work out at and you know whats even cooler is i go out drinking with them sometimes and go to parties etc with em and they are just like normal people. Some cops may give others bad names.. but when it comes down to it.. its all about that person. Cops are normal people who live their lives the way they choose to just like any other person. If a cop is a bad cop so to speak.. he is just a bad person anyway so it really doesnt matter if hes a cop or not he may just get a way with a bit more then he would if her were'nt. Regardless he is still human and should not be looked down upon just because of his or her profession.
