t3 question

Ok I need a littel info on the topic of t3

My girl takes t4 for a tyroid problem the pills are the purple bow ties running 150mcg

is had a hypothyroid so I am thinging that t3 and t4 are the same could anyone give me an ok to take them
or maybe just some info!!

T3:T4 Ratio

The ratio of t4:t3 is about 4:1 or 4.5:1 so 100mcg of t3=about 400-450mcg of t4

The body will convert T4 into T3 when and how it needs it. No matter how much T4 you take, the body will convert only as much as it needs or can (if it functions properly).
T3 supplementation will work all the time though.
