POWER, STRENGTH, HONOR, and BEAUTY!!!!!!

Well fellas my g-ma is 90 and she just got out of the hospital and diagnosed with congenative heart failure(CHF). Her heart is operating at 20%. the reason I am writing this is to tell you about a woman that has battled throughout her life. My g-ma is full blood Japanese...she was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan. During the war, she watched as her sister was raped and beaten by an American soldier. She helped to save her villiage from being destroyed by gathering all the children and leading them into the caves to hide from the soldiers. they drank each others urine to survive. The women had to cover their babies faces in order to keep them from crying and the soldiers finding them...often they would smother the babies because they had to cover their faces for too long...but the survival of the whole villiage was important.

My g-ma's ribs are sitting on her hips and she went from 4'10" to 4'4"...not once has she complained about the pain. The DOC says that anyone in her state would be bed ridden for the remainder of their life...her spine is bent at a 90 degree. She has been independent her whole life and up until she feel 4 years ago, she relied on no one to take care of her. Now my mother has stepped down at work to take care of her. It is Japanese culture not to toss your parent's into a nursing home..I know my mother would not do that to her mother. this is just small fraction of what my g-ma has gone through in life.

I just wanted to share with you all a woman that has had a full life and will soon be leaving this world to start her knew adventures in the after life.

Could'nt help but read your post. I had a near death exsperience 8 years ago, tunnel of light, the whole nine yards...This is only just a second of time we spend here on earth compared to the grand shceme of things, I believe we are all energy and when we die we just slip into another form, energy goes on forever it NEVER dies...God Bless you and your family right now, but know for sure you will see her again...Later bro
