how many of you guys are into nfl?
I am a hardcore PATRIOTS fan and have been for 20 yrs..
I just wanted to point out that we are 7-2! not bad for a team with like 7 injured starters out!
whats you team and how they doing?

when you say a bunch of nobodys I think that means two things....good team effort....good coaching...
pats were the same way a few years back when they won the superbowl...

Priest Holmes is a STUD in my book, and ya Bronson good coaching is right...VERY good team chemistry. They lost to Cinci today though...
My team is the Seahawks.

how can you say the chiefs are a bunch of nobody's? Trent Green, Priest Holmes, Tony Gonzalez, Dante Hall, Vonnie Holliday, Shawn Barber and their O-line is the best. Hardly a bunch of nobody's.

they were somebody's before...look up trent green's numbers with washington and St. Louis. How can you NOT like Priest Holmes?!? He's been the #1 back for the past 3 seasons!! Dante Hall has been solid for awhile now, he just started getting recognition now. There's a reason people picked KC to do alot of damage this year, they have players, dick vermeil didn't magically turn these guys into Pro Bowlers.

Trent green is a pro bowler?
I know he was 2nd string in stlouis, not sure about washington.
I think hes (Dick) done a great job with what he has though, A few good players, none I would consider great Except Dante
at his position. One thing I will say is they never give up.. They play hard untill its over.

I dunno raj --- Priest is scary good, watch him run, he breaks tackles left and right, and if he had the O-line that St. Louis or even Denver, who knows how many yards he would amass. He truly is gifted --- has that real low center of gravity. Just watch a game of KC's, and watch him break open plays etc.

Trent Green was a backup in St. Louis because Rodney Harrison from San Diego rolled on his leg in the preseason and knocked him out for the season. He was brought in to St. Louis to revive their franchise. He was given big money by the Rams, because he put up good numbers in Washington. That's why Vermeil brought him to KC. No one would have ever heard of Kurt Warner if it weren't for Green's injury. Trent Green will be a pro bowler this year.

Ivan, KC has a stud O-line, they got Willie Roaf from the Saints who is a top three tackle in the league, Will Shields as their right guard and Casey Weigmann a former Bear at center.

I would not be surprised to see Gonzalez, Green, Hall, Holmes, Roaf and Shields at the pro bowl.

98' Washington Green started 14 games and threw for 3441 yds, 23 tds and 11 ints with an 81.8 QB rating.

In 2000 as a backup for St. Louis Green threw for 2063 yds, 16 tds and 5 ints with a QB rating of 103. This was in 5 starts.

'02 Green threw for 3690 yds, 26 tds and 13 ints with a QB rating of 92.6 in 16 starts.

So far in '03 Green has thrown for 2516 yds, 16 tds and 7 ints with a QB rating of 93.4 in 10 starts.

There are plenty of teams that would like to have a bum like Green. That's 4 seasons he's had pro bowl numbers now.
