winter training

winter training

I have started going heavy and lowering my reps...I always do this and pig out in the winter...
I am trying something a little diff this time around...I am concentrating on squat,deads,and flat bench..and taking 3-4 days off between workouts...
1. legs..squats-5 sets...hack squats-3-4 sets.
2. chest,shoulders...flat bench-5 sets...militarys-5 sets.
3. back..deads or bb rows-5 sets...shrugs 3-4 sets.

I started this 7 weeks ago...I have gone from 196lbs to 216lbs..I have gained some fat but I have gotten stronger at every workout...
my goal is to reach 230lbs this winter!

where are you guys at with your training?

Question do you train all these the same day and then take 3-4 days off or do you do legs take 3-4 off chest 3-4 off etc?

one bodypart then 3 days off.

my training right now sucks, i'm off gear and i have this knee injury that makes me gimp around teh gym like a, well like a gimp! most my lifts i cant do anymore cuz 1- knee isnt flexable enough 2-not strong enough to have pressure on it for too long. but i'm still in the 220's not as hard as i was a few weeks back, but i still whoop all ass

sorry to here about the knee...I`ve had knee probs about 2yrs ago and couldn`t do legs for 4-5 months...I concentrated on upper body..made some good gains..stay with it brother!

oh ya, I`m off right now to...had to give the ole dick a rest! fuckin prop was killin me! hehe :-)

oh yeah, i probably have a torn meniscus and torn colateral ligament, any idea on how long i would be out with surgery and rehab? i need to get backon the mat, or at least hit a bag. but any kind of twisting kills me.

I don't know about you fellas but cold weather makes me feel like eating, eating, and eating some more. I think I'm getting ready to hibernate soon.

of that 20lbs I`ve gained I think 18-19lbs is fat....I have been eating,eating and eating...

im currently doing HST training, little bit sissy boy training I think but ill finish the 8 week training cycle. After this Heavy workouts with increasing intensity and a lot of compound movements. Just hit 220lbs yesterday with 9% BF

Bout ready to add to my already large winter coat of flab */ Training is good, just switched gyms as I just recently moved and its ok. Ive had some good improvement in my bench, which was one of my weaker points, so Im pleased. Been off for almost 3 months now (boy does this suck) and looking forward to the future. Wanting to hit 250 this winter, but that means Ill be fatter than I am now, dont know if its possible /t\

ya, I`ve been doing 6 for a rep range for the past month, I`m going down to reps of 3 for a couple wks then a week of singles and then probably hit some high volume high rep stuff..
