Goin under the Knife

Well, gettin surgery done in the morning 6 a.m.
Fixin a torn ACL- gonna replace the damn thing and put screws in my knee! Tore my MCL completely!
Well, gotta get it done, gotta keep gettin bigger, but heres the shit*y part. As soon as I recover from this one, got to gave another one, on the other knee.

All I can say is High School football sucks!

Tore ACL, LCL, and had meniscal damage myself playing highschool football. I don't care how big and strong you are get hit just right in the wrong position pop. Thats why practically all lineman in college and pros wear heavy braces. Good luck with rehab it was the worst part. Because of meniscal damage I was on crutches for a month and rehab for six months. Hey but the positive side is if it's done right you will be able to squat, leg press, etc. Good Luck and make sure you get plenty of vicodaine.

did the same thing last season here at college, its a bitch, but fight thru the pain, rehab, rehab, and concentrate on muscle contractions until you can start doing light wieghts with your leg. I know everything your about to go thru, if you have any questions pm me and id be glad to help. Good luck, just remember muscle memory will help it grow once you can start lifting again. GOOD LUCK

mickey, that is a horrible injury, during my last year of HS i was planning on makin it out to states for long jump, i was hitting 21' consistently in pre-season, well i little rain on the board did me no good. they said it was only torn cartillage, but after wards i lost blood flow from my knee down. anyway thats my knee injury, but man good luck with your surgery, hope you come back stronger

Damn bro, that sucks. But I had testicular cancer and lost a nut......beat that tough guy....LOL ;-)

Well, all went well, except the epideral didnt work out soo well, so they put me under.

Got a pain pump that drips novacain(or something similar), I was told it was going to be morphine a little dissappointment, also gave me a huge prescription of Loritab 10's. Going to get me on something better though when they take the pump out and start physical therapy.
