No site enhancement (thank god) since I was injecting subQ into my belly!
Diluting is easy if you chose to do it. I tried shooting it straight, no diluting and that hurt a bit to say the least. But all you do is draw up the amount of IGF/BA mixture into a slin pin, add (either backfill or draw) Bac H20 and then inject. The amount of
bac water to add is up to you and how much you prefer to cut it with. I used a variety of amounts ranging from 0 to 1ml.
No, dont mix the
bac water with the IGF/Ba mixture it will become inert/inactive before your 20 days is up and you have wasted good money.
Here is an excerpt from the manufacturer on some questions I threw at them regarding storage. I hope you, that are thinking about trying it out find it useful (it could save you some hard earned cash)
============================================
The product is very stable in lyophilized form. If you reconstitute the vials and revial it or aliquot it the product is stable for about 2 weeks at 4 degrees C.
Stability at room temperature is probably fine for a couple days. But you have to be concerned about bacterial contamination. So sterile technique is strictly required.
Most proteins begin to degrade to a greater or lesser extent once they are put into solution. One way to improve stability is to add sodium azide and or 1.0 % BSA of HAS.
I would strongly advise that you keep the liquid solution on ice or ice packs during shipping. Once the product is frozen at a concentration of at least 1 mg/ml the product will be fully active for at least 6 months.
It is not a good practice to have proteins at room temperate and not in sterile conditions because bacterial will grow in the solution. That is why we recommend a preservative.
You simply need to follow good laboratory practice and you product will be fine for a very long time. I would only ad the best BSA or HSA and Azide on the market.

Bottom line is that it is good for 6 months once reconstituted and frozen (it actually doesnt freeze since it is in BA). It is only good for two weeks if refrigerated and a couple of days if kept at room temp.
Buy either the nonreconstituted form or make sure you know how your supplier stores the product if buying reconstituted.
CS prices are standard for 1mg but if you want to buy in volume (say 5mg) the price can be half of what they are charging. In addition, they sell reconstituted IGF and you have no idea how it was stored or how much IGF you are getting. I, if spending all that money, would prefer to purchase powder since it removes all those question.
