help with filters

well i can order some syringe filters from my employer. problem is there is several to order from. I know that normally we would use PVDF filters but the only ones i can get are nonsterile. Is there one of the below i can use to substatue. I can get these at pretty good prices.

PTFE for aggressive organic solvents
RC (regenerated cellulose) for dmso compatibility
PES (polyethersulfone) for high throughput and flow rate
SFCA(surfactant-free cellulose acetate) for low protein binding
cellulose acetate membrane ?
HT Tuffryn polysulfone ?
Supor membrane which is a inherently hydophilic polyethersulfone
versapor which is a acylic copolymer membraine
PVDF can only get this in nonsterile packageing

all these choices and i'm no expert. can get pretty good prices but have to order in lots of 50. so i don't want to screw up and order wrong one.

You didn't indicate what you were converting, tren or powders etc. I always use the whatman because I believe they are the best because they are somewhat structurally different from the other filters. They are faily cheap at $4-5 a piece so depending on how much you save i would stick with the whatmans. I am guessing that you will be making powders if this is so you can use the non sterile ptfe filters. I have used these before in the past and they do an adequate job as long as you use at least a 1-3% of BA. If you are making tren/fina I would not use any of the above filters that you have mentioned. The reason is that they will start to clog after a few cc.

your are talking about syringe filters right?

if you can get the spec sheets, find filters that are compatable with the solution you are filtering. you are probably using alcohol to seperate binders or to disolve powder in oil. so id check the ptfe. some bros bought the wrong filters and they melted the filtermateril.
the wider the better. easier to filter through 25mm then 13mm. id stick with sterile filters even if you are heating to sterilize. just to be double sure. something really shitty about infections.
