ok first, your still going to have way better security using pgp than not using it at all, but here's an article about the feds new technique on cracking encyrption and finding out keys:

Keylogging software is oldschool stuff, been around along time. If the "definition" to that particular virus is found, it can be registered with your virus software and can be scanned out. If not, go to the flea market or swap meet in your area and buy a dirty ole cheepass, 133mgz machine just enough to run windows 98se. take out the modem, sound card, etc. use it to do nothing but write your notes, messgs, etc. Transfer to your internet machine via floppy disc. This will act as a kinda middle man. The lantern software keylogger, wont be able to send any info from the machine that you are using the keyboard on.

But you need to start clean, burn a copy of pgp to a cd. Install it on your cheepy machine, generate all your codes and read all of your messages from it.

I have used keyloggers to get admin passes from networks at work, just to play quake and stuff, nothin mean or anything, but if you are a source and you really need to keep it under wraps, then this would be safe in my opinon.

If your a source Id be a little more carefull than just using PGP and thinking your safe. But for everyone else i gotta couple words, your a Small Fish in a Big fuckin' Pond.

I really wouldnt worry about the feds gettin into your box unless you draw a LOT of attention to yourself.

Just cuz you show interest in a board like this and ask questions about where to get gear or drugs or guns or pirated software or hacking a sat dish dosent mean that they "Are coming after you"

Its when you start posting that you are a sorce for these things that they are gonna look at you. Just like on the street. The cops really care less about the kid that buys a joint down the park every once in a while, they want the person that sells it to him and the person that the seller gets it from.
