Big Fuckn abcess

I recently had an infected abcess in my quad. It was cut and drained. I went back in the next day and had emergency surgery. I was in on Tues. out on Friday. I have a big hole in my leg and I have to have it stuffed with gause three times a day. It is disqusting. Does anyone know how long I can expect to be out. Or how it will heel. Just curious.

You're out prolly 6 weeks. don't lift til they tell you to stop using the gaus. You can keep breaking open the skin and cause another infection. Did they say what caused the infection? How deep is the inscision? Got nasty cool pics? What part of Wisconsin, I was born there.

The cut is about 3 inch's deep. About 3 inch's wide and about 6 inch's long. Looks like a canoo in my quad. I am packing it 3 times daily. Taking pictures is a good idea. I was thinking about it. I will try to get my sister, "nurse", "guaze packer", to take the photo. Thanks for the feedback.

damn man when did u finally notice u had it..? i cuaght mine it hink day 2 or 3 and asap got on kevlex 4x a day drained the shit out of it 2x a day with a 18g pin was taking 10cc's of blood puss out a time

What gear where you shooting? Just curious. Do you feel it was a bad gear related issue or perhaps a non sterile/proper injection?

Man, I did pull out about 20 cc's on my own before even going to the ER. I had freinds and family finally convince me to go. I pulled out pea soup. Smelt like dirty garbage. I guess it was just too far gone. The doc told me that it was close to becoming a flesh eating bacteria. Honestly, I was scared shittless. I am one of the top powerlifters in the world. You will see me at the Arnold next yr. I will break the world record bench. So, the gear that I was on..... well the list is pretty long. Deca, EQ, test enanthate, Cypionate, propionate, suspension, trem, winny, many orals as well. Probably forgetting something. I was also trying to keep my weight down. That may have factored in somewhere as well. I have been on gear for 10 yrs. I have had scares but this one is probably the worst. Well I had an insulin scare in the mid 90's but hey. We roll the dice don't we.

He left it go for quite some time. It was in his shoulder and didn't really want to realize it was an infection.
Well he starts getting sick cause it gets so big and he tried draining it himself.
Ended up in the hospital for about 10 days with a staff infection. They had to put a IV drip of antinbiotics straight into his heart. A couple days later they gave him an x-ray and it showed all along the IV tube inside his vein, there were blood clots. So then they had to put him on blood thinner. No way to "dissolve" blood clots other than let them do it on their own.
When he finally was released after they got the infection under control, he had to be as inactive as possible for 6 weeks so that none of the clots would break loose before they disolve. The risk there was that if one of them broke loose, they could go to his brain (STROKE!) or go to his lungs and then the surroundding tissue would die off because of lack of oxygen. Then they would have had to go in and cut out all of the dead lung tissue.
All in all he recovered fine, but man what a fiasco for being so stubborn!

You guys out to see this dude, he is a fucking monster, seen him play, literally play with 600 on the bench. Hey another guy watched him do scull crushers with 225lbs on a regular straight bar. For reps. He is not a tall fella and I believe someone said he weighed in at 280lbs, and he was showing some abs. A nice fella and a leader in the moving of heavy ass weight. Best Wishes. =)

Thanks for the support man. I remember all you guys down there. A good bunch of freaks. I have really come a long way since then. I am ranked #2 all time for bench in the world all time now. So, it just wasn't the abcess, but it was also the competition that I have spent so much time and money on. I got the abcess a week and half before hand. I was ready. Now I am just one of those guys that says "I almost did this." or "I could have done that" Well I guess at the Arnold this coming year I will have to vindicate myself.

Yea I blew my quads with 2 c's in each one last night. And I thought of this post when I did it. Best of wishes, wisconsin. We will be waiting down here on ya. Where aint is a word./t\

I was taking at least two to three pins full every day for quite a while. I was taking Mexi-Pharm, trem, Eq and Deca. QV Enanthate, propionate. I took just a little Ttokkyo Cipionate. Agraviron sp? Suspension. Resfar winny. Organon amps of Sostenon. A small amount of Sten. Very little. And then just my orals. I had just started my drol. Had been taking my dbol for quite some time. And just started my Halo's.
The surgeon said that I had some old abcess's deep in my leg as well. He followed the pockets to little finger like pockets. So we are not sure.
Also, I talked to another surgeon on my last day in the hospital, He said I had strep and that if my abcess smelt, which it did, that it most likely came from saliva... What the fuck is that. I admit I am or should I say, was careless. No alcohol or cleaning before or after. It will catch up to you sooner or later. I was just a carelesss muther fucker.

Bros i suggest all have anti-biotics and cannons on hands incase of abcess, someone asked what gear caused it for me, I cannot narrow it down but Im blaming organon sus as the cuprate, i was shooting in the same shoulder EOD, along with a few other things like deca and fina once. but the deca fina solo has gave me no probs I think it was just ecessive inj
