question about carb-up/shitload

question about carb-up/shitload

When being depleted for a few days and wanting to carb-up, and wanting to try the shitload. Does it matter if i use pasta`s as well during the carb-up? or does it just has to be junkfood?
I ask this because pasta takes up a lot of water and i dont know if thats allowed?

Present stats:
age: 22yrs
length: 1.90m( 6'4'')
weight: 108kg(240lbs)
bf: 6-7%

Untill today i ate this for the past carb-ups(only on saturdays):

- 2 pizza`s
- 600gr pasta(dry weight)
- 900gr of ribeye
- 10 soft rolls( sp?? its bread), few with PB
- 2 liters of water

Now i wonder. Is what i have been doing untill yet any good? or do i have to shitload more? And can you give me any advice of what to eat? btw i live in europe so we dont have as many choices as you americans have we do have Mcdonalds though

btw i will be using 50mg of aldactone ED for 4 days prior to the photoshoot i will be taking in a month.

And is 2 liters of water too much?, does it matter how i consume it? in other words do i have to sip throughout the day or can i take in a 0.5ltr all in once?

Srr for all the questions but i was just wondering about this.

thnx bro. posted this question there also. Was just wondering if there was anyone over here who had a opinion on it.

I Know there are some guys on here that do compete
even a few pros` but for the most part id say were just
your average Joes` but all roided up for whatever reasons,lol
Id say some guys here Know about the "shitload" and carbloading
but myself I wouldnt be much help for ya. Goodluck

Carb loading

Carb loading

I would on my first carb loading day use a quicker Gi carb source such as White rice and white potatos etc. The next day White rice and potatos for a couple meals then oatmeal and yams. The 3rd carb up day brown rice and sweet potatos. I read over at Chads board when you have depleted your more sensitive to carbs.

"It is always best to start a carb up with more simple carbs and then as each day passes, go to lower GI carbs. This is b/c the body is most responsive to glycogen storage during the first day of loading and the higher insulin will help push carbs into muscle cells most effectively at this time."

for collegiate nationals i used a junk load, first off don't limit the water during the load your body needs it. i used lots of high gi carbs i used sugary cereal such as cpt.crunch and fruity pebbles the sugar will really brings out the vascularity. i also ate candy and cake. i tried to avoid foods with alot of grease and fat since my body had not been accustomed to that type food for the past 12 weeks and greasy food such as pizza could cause upset stomach or give you the shits. good luck /t\

JUST MY TWO CENTS WORTH, BUT I JUST COMPETED IN THE JR NATIONALS LAST WEEKEND AND I CARBED UP ON EVERYTHING FROM WENDYS CLASSIC DOUBLES, TO WHITE CASTLE SLIDERS, TO PANCAKES WITH HASHBROWNS, ICE CREAM, YOU NAME IT IF IT WAS JUNK FOOD I ATE IT. I OF COURSE USED HUMILIN R EVERY FEW HOURS TITRATING FROM 6 UNITS TO 10. THIS WORKED GREAT, BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO GO THIS ROUTE RISTRICTING YOUR WATER INTAKE IS A MUST. THAT COMBINED WITH SOMETHING TO EXCRETE WATER AND YOU SHOULD BE ALRIGHT. I KNOW SOMEONE OUT THERE WANTS TO CALL BULLSHIT, BUT I'VE HEARD IT FOR YEARS FROM PEOPLE " DAMN I LOOKED GREAT MONDAY AFTER THE SHOW AFTER EATING SHITTY FOOD FOR A DAY I SHOULD JUST EAT JUNK FOOD TO CARB UP" WELL I FIGURED FIRST NATIONAL LEVEL SHOW NOT MUCH TO LOSE AND I WAS IN THE BEST SHAPE EVER. I COMPETED IN THE WESTERN REGIONALS LAST NOVEMBER AND WEIGHED IN AT 242 CARBED UP, THIS TIME 243 AT WEIGH INS (N0T CARBED UP) AND ABOUT 248-9 AFTER CARBING WITH ABOUT A 20% INCREASE IN CONDITIONING. JUST MY TWO CENTS

/t\ I think sodium is the 2nd most important variable next to genetics and water. I think this is it, high calories but limit water intake that is how you get full sodium helps not hinders, but you hhave to be excreting water for this to work. I gonna basically shit load but mine wil start weds sometime and reduction of water a must I dont want to be indigested on stage with my stomach sticking out 5 feet, so it will be high glucose moderate fat calories to fill that muscle out. But remember when you reduce water you slow digestion that is why I do not shitload night before show. Constant grazing technique is what I use, but must be peeing to work.

i "shitloaded" for 3 weeks, and I look now week 4 back on the diet better then when i started im talking fast food every day laying in bed with no training, i dont understand it but I think it works.
