cholesterol is 220

cholesterol is 220

my doc says my cholesterol is high because of the juice. could the juice raise cholesterol?

You're lucky. 220 is low compared to what mine was on cycle.
In August it was 376! 12 weeks and 28 lbs later it's 238.
I eliminated the fats from my diet. Keep an eye on it and try to reduce your fat intake. Also, I think i read somewhere that winnie really makes your cholesterol jump up.

500mg of no flush niacin for 2 weeks get rechecked and I'd gaurantee lower levels, it has worked for me numerous time for life insurance physicals.

but what are you eating? you can't be eating terribly clean with 220, try to cut back the fats, not completly, just some, and of course allow your doctor to prescribe something if you are very concerned, otherwise, just manipulate your diet

Well boys... diet does play a role in our cholesterol, but steroids will DEFINITELY cause a change in your cholesterol. Your liver metabolizes drugs (one function) and the drugs can cause damage to the liver, as we know... this causes the liver to be less efficient, and that's why your cholesterol is elevated. Unfortunately, that is one of the side effects that we have to live with....

Did you get other tests done too? Like LFT's? Are they up as well, or just your cholesterol?

I agree with the other guys, too, though... try and cut back on some fatty foods in your diet and food that are known for having high cholesterol. (eggs, liver, saturated fats.. etc)
