Arrow I need you all's help

Ok a few months ago this guy at work challenged me to lose 50 lbs. The loser, has to pay the winner $200. Well since then I have lost 35 pounds, and he has lost 40 pounds. We both weighed yesterday(friday) and he was in the lead by 5 pounds. There is no set time limit, just the first there is the winner. I'll give you all a little more info. so you can help me better. I CONSISTENTLY work out 4 days a week, workout takes between 40-60 mins afterwards I hit cardio on the eliptical trainer for 45 mins. I generally eat 5-6 times a day usually 2-3 whole eggs and 4 eggwhites for breakfast, along with 2 pieces of dry toast sometimes I substitute the toast for oatmeal. On the two 15 min. breaks I get at work I usually consume a myoplex shake, sometimes a tuna fish sandwich. For lunch sometimes I eat a 6" sub from subway, sometimes chicken breasts with rice or a baked potato. After my cardio session at the gym I usually get another myoplex shake with 2 scoops of whey protein for a total of 94 grams of protein post workout. Once I get home I am usually only up for another hour maybe two and then it's bedtime(I work nights) Sometimes I'll eat a spoonful of natural peanut butter before I go to bed. Well I believe that's all, if I missed anything you might need to know just tell me, I appreciate any and everyone's help.

Your diet seems to have a moderate amount of carbs...I might suggest taking it a step further and going to a high pro/mod fat/low-no carb diet, with a carb up meal every 3rd to 4th day...

Try a high protein / medium "good" fat / low carb diet. Add in your cardio before you have breakfast (every morning). Twice a week have oats for breakfast so your really keeping your body guessing in the amount of carbs / calories it has to run on and therefore not letting it drop your metabolic rate to the lower dietry intake and thus slowing weight loss down. Also a herbal duretic when you're really close to the 50lb mark will help to and not be too harsh on the system.
Well that's my 2c worth, hope it helps.

You should consider changing your last shake (post workout) to myoplex, and a milk/casein protein shake instead of whey so your body will absorb more protein while your sleeping. I work nights as well and like to take a milk/casein/egg protein only shake before bed. A good post workout/night protein would be Muscle-links Pro-fusion.

Ok,changed a few things up and getting close to the 40 pound mark. How far off should I be from 50 before I try the herbal diuretic? I was looking at taraxatone tonight at the gym made by cytodyne, I would consider using that or something else if suggested. If anyone else has any input I would be glad to hear it. Thanks for all of the input thus far.

^-----You mean Lasix ---- and it is a very strong diuretic that should not be used unless you really know what you are doing.
