Training Forearm's

Does anyone here train forearms independently, or do most just let back day take care of them. If anyone does I would be interested in hearing what you use. I usually do the farmers walk, pull up's etc. to train forearms. If anyone has suggestions to increase grip strengthI would appreciate it as that is my priority right now. Thanks for the help.

i started curling my wrists at the end of my dumbbell curls and that seemed to help.
I also lay my forearm on my knee and curl the weight with my forearm

I do forearms when needed, basically. When I first had my urges to move heavy weights years ago, my forearms and grip let me down. So at the very beginning I hit them independently and hard, till they could more than cope with the burn of heavy back workouts. Now they seem to get enough work from being secondaries in other movements, but if I feel they are lagging or I just wanna get em bigger, I’ll do ten minutes – some forearms curls, and maybe some reverse forearm curls. That does it. IronMike

I hit forearms once a week, after the rest of my work out. I start with behind the back barbell reverse wrist curls, and then set my arms on a bench and do some curls upward with a dumbell. Both about 5 sets. Then I do 5 sets of heavy wrist rotation, weighting only one side of a dumbell. Thats about it, You might think its a bit overkill, but My forearms have gained some really decent size since I have started hitting them hard. If you arent hiting them directly, you might want to ease into it. Oh, and internet porn, lots of internet porn.....

I do forearms 2x a week and got great results. I stand with my back facing the bar and the decline bench and roll the bar up behind my body with just my wrists, then I'll grab a curl bar and sit on a bench and do wrist curls.
