O/T: "Saturday Night Live".
Did anybody catch SNL last night? If you did, did you notice that the lead singer for "Creed", their musical guest, has a style and sound very similiar to Eddie Vedder(sp?), the lead singer for "Pearl Jam"?

whats up bigkraut,, im new here and all, i'm just readin up on this stuff, its been great so far. Anyway, its funny cause thats been a controversy about creed i guess you'd say. When they asked the guitar player about the similarity he said, "Eddie Vedder wishes he could write lyrics as good as Scott's." When Vedder was told about that comment he said, "Creed? They have two albums out now right? Good for them. Thats nice."=2) Well thought you might get a kick outa that.
By the way, i guess this is a good time to say thanks to all at this board. Its been great so far. -the kid

didn't catch SNL but i think creeds a good band...... he does kinda sound similar to vedder.... but who cares their type of music is totally different. and as far as only having two albums, well they haven't been around as long as pearl jam..... creed is actually somewhat of a religious music band, or at least that's how they started, i don't know what religious, i'm not a religious person, but i remember that.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed. His sound and style is uncannily similiar to Eddie's. At least that was my impression.

pss. never heard a religious band use the words goddamn about six times in there first album.
