Fina conversion

I usually only use a single kit, but this time I got a few double kits. When I looked at them there is the same exact amount (about 1ml) of "dissolving solution" in the double as the single? If I'm using double the amount of pellets, shouldn't there be more dissolving solution?

Depending on who's kit is is.. no
a certain kit maker's 2 and 4 gram kits have the same 3.5mls of disolving solution..

There should be double the amount of dissolving solution in a 4g kit than in a 2g kit if the formula is done correctly.

Who did you get your kit from?

There should be double the amount... if not your pellets may take up more room than you have liquid then you have wasted product. I would check with the company you ordered from. MOJO RISINg:help:

I got the kits from finakits/researchkits. Shit, I thought there was a problem. I work for a chemical company and asked a couple of the Analytical Chemists and they agree there should be double the amount.

Oh well.

Wrong, Chem uses the lowest amount that can be used to dissolve a 2 gram kit, but there is enough to also convert a 4gm kit.. I've done it with both numerous times!

Did you use the kit to convert it, Or you just going on the word of someone who hasn't used his kits?

I used those kits b/4 with great results, I just always used the single kits and when I got a double there was the same amount of the dissolving solution. No biggie, probably just a mistake.

i wouldnt risk it, I would check back with where you ordered, and see if they forgot some of the solution or just get another kit since they are pretty cheap. better safe then sorry?=)
