ala and r-ala both have anti-oxidant effects, and are great due to them being both fat and water soluble. It is considered the "universal" anti-oxidant. Kind of like the benefits of C &
amp; E in one pill. R-ALA is much better at reducing plasma insulin levels. This reduces the likeliness that you will store fat. In the state of reduced insulin levels, your body can more readily use fat as an energy substrate much more efficiently. And as already stated, it will increase insulin sensitivity, requiring your body to produce less insulin, which keeps diabetes from setting in. I believe every individual should be on some form of ALA daily.
yohimine/yohimbe orally will build up systematically and cause a slight raise in metabolism. Also, it is good for increased blood flow to the "wang."lol Topically, as found in products like yohimburn, it can cause fat-loss at the sites applied to in areas such as the obliques, abs, pectoral area, glutes... any areas rich in A2 estrogenic fat distribution. Also, works good on the face if you've bulked up on heavy cycles and not been able to get rid of the moon face.haha.
