Ry/Big A: Glucophage & precontest?

Ry/Big A: Glucophage & precontest?

Is there any place for glucophage in a precontest diet? I read somewhere that glucophage can actually help make you leaner, and I know Big A recommends that everyone use Glucophage (metformin) to help clean insulin receptors. How does it do this, and if it makes your body more insulin sensitive, how would this promote fat loss?

Would it be wise to include Glucophage in a precontest diet? If so, how would you take it?

I know a lot of guys use it preworkout. I mainly stick w/ slin the last few weeks of dieting but, you could use gluco instead. Sometimes I use both at same time but, don't advise this.

Glucophage is a great addition to a pre comp stack. Don't use it on the same days you use insulin though, as it will make the insulin unpredictable.
Gluco helps you get leaner by making you more insulin sensitive, so the body releases less insulin. Less insulin floating around means you get leaner.

Would it not also suck up all the glucose floating around (through insulin sensitivity) so that it can not be turned into fat?

So how much and when would you suggest taking the glucophage (500mg) precontest?

Also, I thought slin and dieting didn't mix well, especially during the last few weeks when carbs get pretty low. Could you please explain this to me? When dou you take your slin, only on days you workout?

ACtually some people walk the razor edge w/ slin and dieting. If you consume enough protein it will convert and keep the slin from making you hypo. I have done this and it isn't easy but, can be done. It is easier for me to use though cause I only go to 100 grams of carbs so I still have some carbs in my system.

I would guess you are using the "R" version of slin when dieting? And do you still try to get close to 10gr carbs after your slin shot?

im adding slin to my current cycle and am wondering if I should use glucophase on the days I dont use slin? Anyone recommend this?

yeah, Log is too fast while dieting. I usually take a 10iu shot right after workout then almost 100grams carbs, 10grams creatine,10grams Glut and 130grams Protien. This is usually the ONLY carbs I will have for the day.
