MORE STUFF
Please allow me to share a couple thoughts with you on this subject--sort of a "report from The Front". I am all over this steroid and HRT thing, and I am absolutely convinced we should be concentrating some effort at getting good relations with HRT docs. I think we'll have the best chance at being accepted by the "conventional" medical community there. Why? Because HRT docs are fighting there own battle with that same conventional medical community to promote the benefits of hormonal supplementation. They are also well-versed in writing for the ancillaries, because they do so every day. Finally, I tell every HRT doc I meet that if they REALLY want to understand how to do HRT, they MUST study, and work with, steroid athletes. Questions/comments/smart-remarks?

SWALE is right. there are so many doctors who know only what they were force-fed in med school, but not about the real benefits of HRT. I am relieved there is finally a doc working to start a shift in opinion in the med community.

Thanks, man. I am a gregarious sort, and have always liked hanging out with the guys, whether it was at the gym, down at the corner pub, etc. So feeling welcome here does mean a lot. I feel a ton of weight pushing on me from the conventional medical establishment, and do get a boost from the guys I am working for. Basically, one of your own went and got himself a medical license, and now has come back to help his Bro's.

COULD YOU HELP????
I was curious if I started my DECA/ENANTHATE/GREEN GIANTS early, would it help promote healing my inury. I thought I was better so I did a heavy set on bench...225 2 sets of 15 to warm, 315 3 sets of 8...feeling good so I...365 1 set 7, 405 1 set of 3 (stopped due to pain).
I was curious it hurts to move my arm in a bench press range of motion and a military press range of motion...STABBING PAIN initial then throbbing...
Let me know??
I am shooting the 400mgs of deca in my shoulders and the 500mgs of ENANTHATE in my thighs

Steak helmet--Unfortunately, shoulders are so complex anatomically that it is impossible for me to render an opinion of any import without physically examining you. In fact, I have a real nagger going on with my lown eft shoulder, and its symptoms are refusing to follow any known pattern. I'm suspecting , though, it has something to do with the fact the long tendon of the bicep passes through the middle of it to the posterior (as the tricep does from the opposite direction). Often these two facts are forgotten when considering the cause(s) of shoulder pain.

swale
That is true. I've had that exact problem in the past with what I thought was shoulder pain. It actually turned out to be bicep tendonitis. After changing my form and exercises for biceps, it took about a month or two for the pain to gradually go away.

I think Steak already knows what he needs to do, hint hint. This Swale guy, what is he thinking, he can't do shit! LOL J/K Everyone's seen my posts about this man and what he can do for all of us. I'm using him on a personal level, and I can't wait for the first of the year! That also means another trip to that "one Pub" This time I'll make sure I don't have to leave, early!

Steak Helmet, I don't know why I missed this the first time through, but I'm thinking it would be a good idea to lay off the delt injections while you have shoulder pain. Any localized inflammation will add to the problem. And you know I have to recommend not doing those monster benches until it cools down (you've never experienced any kind of "pop" or feeling of a tear, right?).
Armageddon--maybe we should meet somewhere the scenery is, well, less distracting. Yes, we grow some beautiful girls here in Lansing (professional medical opinion).

Hey SWALE, hope you had a good Christmas. Just thought I'd throw in my injury problems here too.lol
I haven't been able to lift in almost two months now due to shoulder injuries. My left shoulder has just been acting up a little... nothing too bad. However, my right shoulder is messed up. It doesn't seem that it has gotten any better during this lay-off from the weights, which is very discouraging. It has been popping when I stretch my arm across my sternum (pulling with the other arm) and also when I reach behind me, like when I go to grab my wallet out of my back pocket.
Not sure exactly which treatment I should delve into first. Maybe get X-rays, then try massage therapy/shoulder manipulation, and/or prolotherapy.
I've read of a lot of bros having success with ART (active release therapy), however there isn't a practicing doctor within 150 miles of me, so thats out of the question for now.
What would be your recommendation?

rj420, the same to you!
It's just too hard to try to figure out what is wrong without proper examination and diagnostics. The imaging study of choice for joints is the MRI. It is amazing what shows up on them.
The possibilities range from an actual torn rotator cuff, down to minor inflammation (which can be mighty painful, indeed). Also, one of the muscles of the shoulder cuff can become hypertonic, in other words, "spaz'd up". This is incredibly painful and restrictive of motion. My understanding is that is what ART is best at relieving. If I knew a ART practitioner near Lansing, Mi, I would LOVE to see a profound demonstartion of it on my own left shoulder.

ART is worth the drive! TRUST ME As for the prolotherapy, that is expensive. They started using that in the league, and would cost someone off the street like $400 a shot from what I understand. ART is around $30 a session plus gas.
Swale- she loved the rocks, I was told I did WELL :) hooray for me. Christmas was good, no one added to the Armageddon get swole fund, but we'll work on that.
