Rott on juice?????(of topic)

Okay guys this is a little of topic but I am sure many have dogs in here so I'll ask away! I have a female rot. She is about 6 months old and is the damn best dog I have ever had! Anyway I took my dog to a friends house the other day and his mom shows dogs! She said it was the finest example of a rot she has ever seen(which was cool I thought) and asked me if she could train and show my dog! Well I dunno if I am going to do this becuase I don't want the dog taken away from me to go on long trips and what not and she also informed me that I would have to bear some of the expence of the supplys! Than she said she wanted to go get some pills from the doc to make the dog more muscular????? Is this even legal in dog shows?? I imagine it would be winyy am I wrong?? Is it safe to give it to the dog?? Is it expensive(might get it for myself). Would any of you do this? I am still going to talk to the vet before doing anything I just wanted some opinions? Also if I did this do you think I could breed the dog and sell the pups for alot of cash!

probably winny, as they do give it to many show dogs for a shinier coat and better muscle definition. It will probably be very expensive though. I wouldn't do it, just because I see no point in paying money to have someone else show off my dog, and you don't even get to spend as much time with your dog as well. Rotts only live around 8-9 yrs. Now if I had a rott or another supposed to be big dog and it turned out to be a little runt (like my roomates rotty, small as hell) then I might give him/her some juice. Not that it is ethical, but if I pay big money for a big dog, that dog is gonna get big one way or another.

If someone says that gear is not for animals and is bad for them, well then they just basically said steroids are harmful to anyone/anything. I know they are safe in humans at reasonable dosages... likewise with any animal.

i dont think its bad for animals , i just dont think the dog cares about looking buff lol but really i could be wrong but i do think it makes them have a temper and long term it will afect the dogs bones , atleast thats what ive heard .

I have a Rott that is 8 years old and I would never give her or any other pet stuff. My girl is 120 lbs now and was the runt. Your pup will grow in time. I just feel if they don't ask you for it then don't give it to them, unless it is for medical reasons. Thats just my opion.

Hey thanks fo rthe input! Yea i don't think I would ever give it to the pup unless she needed it! She is about 75lbs now and that is a par for her age so I am cool!! As far as someone showng the dog I think that is just stupid (imo). Besides who going to gard the stash when daddy's away! That is of course if I had one???????????*/ /t\

Animals being used for show or for thier athletic performance, like race horses are juced up the same way humans are. What about the NewYork Strip you just chowed down on, that fuckin cow was on so much growth hormone, I could have turned pro on his cycle LOL. Winny is used often on dogs with certain skin disorders. Don't get me wrong, I would not give my dog (Mastiff) just like on the TTokkyo lable, any jucie just for recreation or to make her bigger. But if you are a dog breeder for show dogs. a Grayhound trainer or horse trainer then its part of the protocal
