He has a THICK waist yea they all do but his hips are just wide wich takes away from his v-taper.. The guy dialed it in though. the best i have ever seen him

GUNTER was badass...it was nice that he added a spark to this sport.

|--[\\\]>------ You know what is really cool about Gunter is that the guy has really paid his dues...he has competed every O since i first started taking an interest in bbing...like 5 yrs. ago and he has stuck with it and never whinned about not placing high...he has waited long enuff and his time will come.

Gunter looked great. And yeah, he really does dwarf Coleman which is no easy task. But unfortunately he does have a large waist. There is really nothing anyone can do about that kind of thing. Just genetics. And as far as I can see, he will never win the O for that reason!! I wish and hope I am wrong because Gunter is a class act!! I can't think of a better person to represent bodybuilding than him!! It seems that the large waist/hips are a white mans trait. You see it much more in white bodybuilders than black bodybuilders. And to give the appearance of a huge upper body, you need to have a small waist to show the differential. Side by side, Gunter looks bigger than Coleman, but individually, Coleman looks bigger.
