Over The Counter SLIN ???

I know years ago you could go into any drug store and purchase Slin. This allowed diabetics who travle access w/o having to secure a script. Can you still do that ? If not please PM me as my sugar is very high, need fast acting.

I just got some the other day. Walk up to the counter and have Humulin R written on a peice of paper and hand it to the pharm....say you need to get this for a family member. they won't give you any shit. about buying it.

Abombs, you are right on. Went into a major chain store/pharmacy and asked for Humulin R for my father. She asked if he was in the system(thier computer) I said I dont think so. She asked if he had a script for the Slin, I said I guess so, he is coming from out of town and just called me to get this, I know he is diabetic. She asked how many I needed, I said one(not to attract attention) $27.95 later I walked out with my first bottle of SLIN. The insert is an excellent source of info. I wish I had a scanner and could supply you all w/it. I have one question, the bottle contains 10ml/100iu per ml. So I have 1000 units. I plan to use 10 units after every workout, If I workout 5 days a week thats 50 units per week. This one bottle will last me 20 weeks. IS THIS CORRECT ????

Your math is correct. That bottle should last the rest of your life. Good luck man. Keep carbs on hand in case you go hypo. I keep Capri-Sun juices and drink two of them if I feel the hypo.

i am college wrestler and my coach has us on lock down to say the least every one in town knows who we r and miles down the road is nothing, nothing O and a hole lot of nothing for about an hour
