I'll be competing
In the spring again. It has been 2 years since my last comp, but I've made some major improvements since then.
I'll be noticed, I plan on walking on stage at 245lbs or greater. Hopefully more like 255. I'm 6'2" though. lol.
Been in the BB scene for the last 13 years.

your age should work to your advantage. Many pros don't peak until there 30's.

I've done the caveman and the southern states. Southern states had a lot more good physiques in it. Emerald cup is even tougher. Just my .02.

Emerald cup is in my neck of the woods. You better be top dog if you plan on going to that one!

judging in missouri is horrible. 2001 was the only tough year at red river ,i look at pictures from previous years 1/2 and 1/2,but the caveman is top shelf.i get the npc magazine southern states and emerald cup the lighter guys rule.

I did the caveman, I think 3 years ago. Kevin Levrone was guest poser that year. I also thought the judging there was the worse I have seen at any contest. There was too many obvious misses. I worked out at the Ultimate gym in St. Louis (actually Hazelwood i think), but the owner and one of the guys that worked there said the same thing. They had people competing but they would compete elsewhere.
