My friend wants to send me some gear thru the mail. I only know him from another board, and I have never met him in person. What I'm really afraid of is sending cash/evocash/egold to a DEA agent and then gettin snagged.

I was thinking that it would be entrampment if someone was soliciting drugs to me, but Im not sure about that. I have heard stories of undercover cops posing as under age kids and snagging perverts that way, so why cant they snag me this way ??)

my advice--if you don't feel comfortable--DON'T DO IT! Entrapment is only if the law enforcement agency in question forces you to do something illegal--say you sell drugs--you get picked up for selling drugs--they make a deal with you to buy drugs with you at your suppliers place--then they arrest you for buying drugs as well--thats entrapment

OR

set up a po box-fake name and have him send it there--pick it up-write return to sender-wait two weeks--if nothing happens--then you should be free and clear

If you aren't getting a somewhat large order, then i doubt anyone is trying to set you up. Just my .02, don't do it if you aren't comfortable.

he's not a dealer. he's a friend that bought too much EQ that he's looking to unload. he may never have given or sold to anyone else before.

How can he have too much eq? Tell him to front it and when you get it youll send cash. If he wont then he is scamming you. I guess you could go ahead do it, get scammed, and then tell everyone who he was so he cant scam anyone else, you know take one for the team. J/K

If you ever have any doubt (wich you obviously do) stay away from it and don't do it. No matter how good of a deal it seems to be. Go with someone you know and trust
