Possible Abcess help

I stuck about 3 mls of QV test enanthate and sust in my right glute last wed. I think I might have a possible infection or abcess developing but am not sure. I know its not from the juice, since I've been using it for 8 weeks, but may have been from my injection. Anyway, after the first few day I had the normal pain and swelling of the QV and sust that I've always gotten. But this time its still painful but geting less painfull everyday. When I press down I can feel a hard ball or knot. That I've never felt before. How do I know I have an infection or abcess forming? It's been 5 days and its still sore to the touch with a knot formed also. Any bros that have been through this help a brother out.

I shot 1c of QV enathate and 1c of QV eq in my delt last week. I got a HUGE knot that was solid (actually made my shoulder look pretty good) and pretty sore. Finally after 7 days it has started to go away and is no longer hard or sore. I'd give it a little time if it's starting to get better. If it gets real red and warm or you get feverish go get it checked out.

Thanks. It hasn't gotten red, and I haven't been feverish. It just hurts to the touch, and feels like I got a golf ball stuck in there...lol.

I work as an RN and just so you'll know:
If you had an abcess you would see increased swelling, redness, pain to touch that would not decrease, but would get worse. You would also feel feverish and sick. the big symptom is redness and localized swelling.*/

Make sure you RUB the area real good after an injection, and your should never have that problem.

Usually I only get that type of swelling from the chinese garb. Last time it happened I put a heating pad on it. The redness actually spread out at first but decreased in redness. Took about a week to go down. Good luck bro!

The golf ball lump is gone now. Took two weeks, but it went away after heating it.

i get that time to time from any gear i use............I think it is because you did 3cc's.....quite a bit......but i do it too.
