Wink Supplement question??

i read a thread a while ago that if you're eating massive amounts of protein, that taking ginger supplements will help you digest more protein than usual. i also read that alpha lipoic acid will help with your kidneys since aas users put a lot of stress on them...i was just wondering what your thoughts were about taking these supplements and if this information is correct

Drink tons of water and your kidneys will be fine. If you want better protein absorbtion, use SyntheBLOCK plus from Synthetek. It helps the body absorb protein through the enzymes it contains. It's also good at the fact that you never get bloated after a meal.

yeah, i know syntheblock works well but i was wondering about the ginger pills and the alpha lipoic acid...i drink tons of water but you can never be too safe..thanx...any more info would be greatly appreciated

I dont' know about protein absorption, however ginger root is often used to help settle an upset stomach -- possibly from eating a shitload of protein or a big fat heavy protein shake. It is also used for seasickness - works MUCH faster than waiting for Dramamine and that stuff to work.

Here's what my Prescription for Nutritional Healing second Ed. says about it:

Cleanses the colon, reduces spasms and cramps, and stimulates circulation. A strong anti oxidant and effective antimicrobial agent for sores & wounds. Useful for bowel disorders, circulatory problems, fever, hot flashes, indigestion, morning sickness, motion sickness, nausea and vomiting. However note that it can cause stomach distress if taken in large quantities.:1book:
