is there a local , regional,or national data base on post office boxes?
as to show flags on boxes
example: say u have a po box at a post office. ok u go and open
another po box at another po would that show a flag some where inn
a local or national data base that there are two boxes in one name?
do they keep records like that???
2nd part:
does mail box etc. and places like that send inn any info. on who rents there
boxes? i know they keep records but again do they send that info.to national
or local data base?
so would it show up somewhere that there are two boxes inn one persons name, in a
region??
And would it show up about the mail box etc. type places??

I dont think there is a dtabase.. But I would like to know about non-government companies and what there rules are? Also is there any non-government places where you can get an anonymous box?

One thing I do know: When you get a box get it under a fake business name. Custome search business mail a lot less then that going to private citizens/;

I believe there is a federal record of some kind, but I'll ask someone who might know a little better than me and post his answer here later.

I am pretty sure that a place like MBE is supposed to check all thier info with the local P.O., but not sure about a national thing.

let me tell you what i know for 100% sure. there is a federal database which contains all information of a federal nature. i personally have ran searches on this database using a federal judges password that i'm close to. yes if one box is flagged all the boxes under that name and or personal info. are flagged as well. i have 3 p.o. boxes at three different post offices and they were all three listed in the database. there was an individual that was sourcing and my gut told me he wasn't being cautious enough. i entered in his p.o. address into the database and it brought up two complaints against his box which were filed with the postal inspector. i immediately informed this person ,unfortunately he didn't take heed to my warning. i would think that since MBE is privately owned it wouldn't fall under the same federal guidelines as the post office. i'm sure MBE keeps their own records but aren't required to disclose that information because it would be protected under the privacy act. however it's a tough call since most of the deliveries to MBE are made by the USPO which is federally regulated.

the open records act has allowed attorneys like myself access to a lot of information ,but on a discretionary basis.

Why dont people ever use ups???? My friend is a supervisor there n says only thing that gets checked is international mail and thats not done very dilegently . He did say that they do bust packages at times but thats done by the sheriffs office due to a tip or a set up that a package is arriving. According to him no domestic packages are X-rayed, and nothing gets checked unless its suspicous so unless ur dumb enough to have needles sticking out out the box its safe.
