3gs/lb is crazy dont forget you cannot consume too much protien all at once with out a big portion of it goin to waste, your body can only absorb so much at a time so space out meals, but 3gs is unrealistic, unless your training for olympia, any avg lifter will have more of a challenge eating that much protien rather than any other part in the overall routine. I used to hear 1g/lb a while back from Bill Phillips ceo EAS, which if anything u think he would be the one saying 3/lb since hes gettin your $ when ever u buy the eas shit. Then 2 became the more common #, but 3 is just gonna be too hard, that would mean a 200lb guy would need 600gs a day. thats 30 designer protien shakes, or bars, or a little more then 8 dozen eggs. Just stick with focusing and hittin your minimum intake of 1g per lb, and if you can intake any more thats great, but if you missed a few meals and say only took in 50gs of protien that day dont attempt to eat 200 to catch up, spacing meals out is esential element of eating for mass. THeir is a reason why no succesful bodybuilder eats 3 big meals a day, when he can eat 6 meals a day, with the same amount of food, its all about absorbtion. every 2.5-3hrs is good schedule to eat.
