Question about prostaglandin

What is prostaglandin and what is it actually used for in the medical circles? Is it possible to obtain it from pharmacies (in the countries where roids are legal)?

Prostaglandin is a hormone in your body sythesised from long chain fatty acids. Its main action is exerted on smooth muscle control, ie vasoconstriction of blood vessels and rythmic contraction of your intestines and uterus (if u have one). It has no anabolic action, so its use as a bodybuilding supplement is beyond me, other than effects on blood pressure. In medical circles its mainly used to induce termination of preganancy or evacuation of the uterus, via its action on the smooth muscle, when health concerns warant it. I believe it may also be used in treatment of heart disease but im unsure. As to obtaining this drug i've got no idea.

PGF2A is a prostaglandin. It "promised" to be the next big thing about a year and a half ago. I used it for a month straight but it required very frequent injections and the sides are very painful and uncomfortable especially since you spend alot of time on the toilet. Injecting prostaglandins overstimulates the hypathalamus which can cause any number of weird things to happen.

My results were not anywhere near favorable in lew of the hell I went through using it.

My opinion, not worth the time or discomfort.
peace,
WCP

As far as I know its only in veterinary use. PGF2A goes by the name "Lutalyse" and is made by Upjohn.

Its used on felines.

Plus it's heavily used in cattle in induce abortion. A human female, if she is preganant, should not even touch PGF2 as it will be absorbed through the skin and could possibly induce an abortion.
