I am new to the game too, and I made great gains working 5-6 days on, and 1 off. I only lifted one major body part a day. Legs one day, shoulders one day, back on one...I stacked bis and tri on one day, because I feel like I can hit them harder when they aren't fatigued from back or chest routines.
I have been lifting for 5+ years, but am new with cycles, and I am sure some of the veterans on this forum can give some more experienced advice!
