how much rest while on cycle?

how much rest while on cycle?

just started my first cycle and I am wondring how many days a week I should be working out.... I feel like going to the gym EVERY day... but I know I need days off..... what do u guys suggest? Im thinking 3 on, 1 off.... I work 1 body part per day.

I am new to the game too, and I made great gains working 5-6 days on, and 1 off. I only lifted one major body part a day. Legs one day, shoulders one day, back on one...I stacked bis and tri on one day, because I feel like I can hit them harder when they aren't fatigued from back or chest routines.

I have been lifting for 5+ years, but am new with cycles, and I am sure some of the veterans on this forum can give some more experienced advice!

looks like we are in the same situationm diouble guns, cause I've been working out for like 5 years as well... and I split up my days like you... one body part per day... except bis and tris are together...

my cycle is 10 weeks, sust500, deca400 per week, divided into two shots.

Rest

I usually go 3 on 2 off and get great results.You grow when you rest so I feel it necessary to take a day or two off between training splits.For precontest it's different.I am there 7 days a week.Remember to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.

i feel that I can go to the gym everyday... and I try to convince myself that since I worked legs today, that meant a "day off' for upper body, so Im ready to go tomorrow! PLease tell me why what I just said is wrong... Im forcing myself to take sunday off. even though I really dont want to

what about going to the gym on a day off for like 30 mins just to work abs and calves.... is that ok? or will that not be enough of a rest day for my body?

I feel your pain bro.I feel like I have to go everyday and hit the iron pile.I save that for pre-contest time.You need rest in between there.The 3 on 2 off works well for me and feel I get the best results off season and I do feel stronger.My lifts have gone up considerably since running my training days like this.Abs or calves are ok since they recover fairly fast.I just incorperate these into my normal training splits so I can have a whole day or two off rest and eat.Whatever works for you I say run with it.

bro if you got a good cycle going geting plenty of food /sleep and everything is going forward train like ya want if the bw is going up and you keep geting stronger run with it

thanks a lot for the imput... I decided to force myself to take 2 FULL days off.. I was feeling worn out all day for the past few days, I figured it was from over training... after these two days, I am gonna start going even harder... but will probably do 3 days on, 1 off, routine.

On my days off I get even more sleep and eat even more
