Steroid segment on Sports Center tonight!

on the clips they are showing all these huge players hitting homers and running the bases looking jacked!

i didn't get to watch the program, but i bet they didn't paint a pretty picture about AS...somebody who watched it should fill us in on what they talked about...i read a quote once online about steroids in athletics and i think it really sums it up about mainstream society...it was something to the effect that, everybody wants to see bigger, stronger, and faster athletes, but they just don't want to know how they get that way

The segment only lasted about 3 minutes, didn't go into any great detail about anything. This big white dude(forget his name)
was saying it's a personal choice, and it can hurt you career or help your career depending on the althlete, He was pretty much saying it's fine and canj give you an edge if used correctly, no shit!

BTW, he looked great, real massive!

Then there was this black guy, crying about it saying how he "hopes it's not true, and how dissapointed he would be that people would cheat.....He looked like he's been using GH for years!LOL

All the steroid hype you have been hearing is a result of a Sports Illustrated interview with former Astros MVP Ken Caminetti (spelling?) In the interview (which Ken agreed to on the premise that the interview was about "Life after Baseball") Ken was asked if he ever juiced. Ken stated he had and then suggested that as many as 50% of the players in the major league were on gear. Well, when the interview was published yesterday, the focus was definitely shifted from "Life after Baseball" to rampant gear use in the BIGS. All of the sports talk shows today dedicated their shows to steroid talk. Jim Rome had some sports doctor on the show, and basically it was one big gear bashing day on talk show after talk show. Frank Thomas was the black guy (he definitely looks like he uses) who spoke out against steroids, stating using them is cheating.
