Yeah, I remember years back when I first stared down the business end of a 1 1/2 in., 22 g pin. I thought that was the most sinister thing I'd ever seen in my life. lol. Imagine my shock when I didn't feel crap when I injected. I was like "wow, that was no big deal"!

Yep I used to be super scared of needles, the first couple shots I had a buddy do it...then I decided well if I'm gonna fucking do this I can't rely on someone for the next 20years so I stared doing it, now it doesn't bother me....but I had to get a needle at the doctor a while ago and it freaked me out, it was like I didn't trust him, I asked if I could just do it and he said no!

I once had to give my younger brother an injection. Now I did'nt feel he should use the gear so instead i fooled him and put Vitamin b12 (Neo-cytamin) for his first ever shot.

Everything went fine. he was'nt too nervous and as we know the insulin syringes are painless. But...........here is were it gets freaky and very scary. After sticking the needle in his outer deltoid he seemed fine. so i turned to put the syringe in the trash, when all of a sudden i heard a almighty smash......

I turned and to my utter shock he was lying wedged between the table and the wall. Now my brother is 6'7" and when he falls over it aint a pretty site.

I ran to his side and to worsen the trauma (to me) he was not breathing but had gone into respitory seizure, eyes were in the back of his his and muscles cramped and trembling. I shit.....I kept thinking how I could possible live with the thought that i killed my brother with b12!!! I yelled at him and he did'nt respond! Then I rolled him onto his side and using the palm of my hand whacked him in the centre of the back (as we learnt from doing security) and screamed "Breathe you little bastard!!" then his eyes rolled forward and looked at me.

His first comment was "What the fuck was that shit?"

Whewww, I swore i will never stick anyone but myself again.

PS. He suffered a severe case of Anaphlaxis (shock due to b12)

That wasn't anaphylactic shock. If you go in a shock, you only come out with an adrenalin shot. He just simply freaked out about being injected and passed out. Seen it TONS of times.

My first shot - It was at the back of this bodybuilding shop in Altona, Melbourne more than 10 years ago. Here I was, only 17, in the middle of all these national level bodybuilders, with a nurse in the middle of them holding a needle while I was barring my ass to all to see. I was so nervous, I nearly passed out, while they were all laughing. I was still waiting for the pain when she said that it was finished. LOL

My first shot by myself, was before a comp, also when I was 17. I was in a foreign city, and my father, who came with me, went out for a walk. So, here I was in the hotel room by myself. I was going to inject 400mg of amp-5 (Synthelator to you guys). amp-5 is diluted in propyline glycol (VERY painfull stuff).
Anyway, I had two syringes ready. One empty and one with the amp. I put an orange on my ass and I start, using a dart like motion, to stick the orange with the empty syringe - a firm orange has the same level of 'firmness' as human skin. I did that for a few minutes until it became automatic motion, and then quickly dropped the orange and the empty syringe, grabbed the proper syringe and jabbed my ass. I couldn't believe how painless it was!
But then... the first half of the injection went fine, but by the time the second half came around, the pain from the propyline glycol set in... it felt like I was injecting straight alcohol in there! I started freaking out, so I injected the remaining fluid as quickly as possible and pulled the needle out. As soon as it came out, I dropped to the floor because my leg/glute could not hold me up due to the severe pain from the propyline glycol.
Also, noone warned me about the hyperventilating that amp causes (my first time of using it). So almost immediately after the shot, I start severelly hyperventilating, while I was lying on the floor in agony from the injection site. I thought that that was it! I majorily screwed something up and I was going to die!
I slowly crawled myself up on the bed and laid there for about 1/2 hour. The hyperventilation slowed down and I started feeling better.
Then my father comes in the hotel room, sees me on the bed and I must have looked like absolute death, because he looks at me and says 'Nervous about the comp, huh?'
LOL

One of the main contrubutors to Shock is the bodies rection to a foreign substance and in retaliation it produces a huge dose of natural Adrenlin.

It can be fatal but depending on the individual will usually subside within a few moments.

My nephew had a needle from the doctor and proceeded to have a seizure, the Doc looked at me and said " he'll be right in a minute!" I freaked out and he said"It happens somtimes", he walked out of the room and left him on the floor writhing and squirming like an epileptic. When he got back my nephew was fine but I think I needed a shot to calm me down. LOL

Here's a little information on Anapylaxis for anyone who is concerned:
