I'm off around 4-5 months a year. Since I don't compete nor do I get paid for my body, I'm not into the big long courses or heavy doses. There's nothing wrong with doing that, its just not my choice. So for myself, when off, I don't eat as much fat, and lower the carbs a bit. The
protein stays the same, as does the training, sleep, etc. As for helping in the long run...I think health wise it will, but once you start juicing, your no longer bodybuilding to be healthy. I mostly worry about BP, liver enzyme levels, and blood lipid profiles. When those go up, your asking for trouble down the line.
