experience...so far..on my first fina conversion

Well, this is my first try at using a kit on my fina and I have run into a small snag. Everything was going well until I started filtering through the syringe filter. It got clogged with less than half of the fina run through it. And to top that off, it appears I was applying too much pressure on the syringe plunger, because the damn thing "slipped" for the lack of a better word, letting some of the unfiltered fina go past the plunger and that amount is now wasted. So now I have to wait until a new filter arrives and I hope that Chem at finakits.com will be generous and send me a new 10cc syringe. Anyways, not quite as smooth as I had hoped for, but I damn sure am happy with the appearance of the fina that did get filtered. Anyone with any suggestions on what I might have done wrong, would be welcomed.
BTW, I did run it through a coffee filter first.

I bet you didn't run it through a coffee filter first. You should have, It eliminates clogging the whatman filter,.

why is any of it ruined? run it through the filter an call it
good. Also, did you put the xtra needle tip in to release the pressure? How much are you makin bro, should be able to run
atleast 50 ml through 1 SF. anyhow your on the rite track
fina is powerfull stuff.

Hey Basskiller, I did run it through a coffee filter first and got alot of the gunk out. Got any other suggestion? I would appreciate it.

Rajjin, the part that was ruined was the fina that slipped past the plunger and actually spilled out of the syringe, it's hard to explain it. And yeah, I did put the extra needle in, so I don't know why the damn thing got clogged so early in the process.

How hard is it normally to press the fina through the filter? Because it was a bitch from the start, with only a drop at a time going through.

Yeah its a fairly slow step in the process. Take your time bro.
in the end you will be happy. Another time or two bro
and youll be able to make it w/ your eyes closed an one hand behind your back. Not sure what went wrong, Maybe your
filter was just a bad one? your needles were 18g rite?

Yep, they were 18 gauge. I probably did something wrong, but the thought of maybe a bad filter did cross my mind. Chem at finakits has been cool, and is sending me an extra syringe and needle with my extra filters. I'm ready to go on this stuff, to see if injectable fina is all it's cracked up to be!

I have 2 kits of fina comming in about 4-7 days, let me know how it works out. also im spending 120 for 56 day supply, is that decent? also anyone know how much I would actually lose if I couldnt get my hands on something like clomid comming down from the cycle?

A quick update (if anyone cares):
I received my filter and syringe yesterday and I finished converting today. I had absolutely no problems with the 2nd half that need to be filtered, and I just finished baking it. The fina looks great, no floaties and the color is great, so I will be starting soon! A thanks to chem at finakits.com for helping me out./t\

Thats great to hear, I've never had a problem after the coffee filter... so you had me stumped when you said that you did use it.... weird...But I glad it worked out for you....

My very first batch looked like absolute shi t. But with a little help, it turned out fine.
So I kind of knew somehow bewteen all these finaholics, that it would come out fine!

Another update:
I took my first shot yesterday and I don't mind telling you I was a bit nervous about it, but I have no problems to report today and am anxious to see if injecting fina is as good as most say. Btw, I am stacking with winny and I will post my results periodically.
