Without question, the pics in the mags don't do those boys justice. You'll never be able to appreciate just how huge those guys are 'till ya see'em up close.

Depends. Some are huge in real life others you can even tell that they are bodybuilders when they are fully covered up. It's all about the quality and illusion created on stage.

The freakiest in real life are Nasser (no matter what he wears) and Dennis James is you can see any of his bodyparts (especially upper chest LOL). At the other end of the scale is Lee Haney. Back in 1992, he was wearing a leather jacket and Levis and next to me, he wasn't dwarfing me or anything. Then he took his clothes off and My God!

Also impressive are Lou Ferigno (when he was big) and Paul Dillet but when they are covered up, I've seen bouncers looking bigger than them.

All the others, look like big bodybuilders.

I agree with Big A totally. I used to see Cormier at the Sound Factory in NYC all the time and in a shirt he looks like he doesn't even workout....but then he took it off and had a tank top on...Holy Shitballs....he is huge. Also met Lee Priest how looked like a bloated fire hydrant.

Like everyone else said, it depends on who. At the last NPC show I had the oportunity to meet Jay Cutler and then we all went out for dinner. He looks like a truck with a t-shirt on, and you wouldn't believe how much the pros force feed themselves to maintain their size. I have a lot of respect for their dedication, and hopefully I'll be there someday.
