Depends on the age. If he has hit a plateau and reached his natural ability and wants to go further, let do some research and learn. Once he does it he will be hooked.

I "hooked" a friend of mine up, just make sure that you are regulating dosage and juice. Teach him, make sure that he has the drive to train I have seen people get on and get fat as hell because they don't have the drive. Just walk him through it all.
