i have short squatty bi's, how can i make them thick and long? thanks

I have read and told by people that fully extending your arm all the way on dumbbell curls or preacher curls works, there's also some info on this in the Flex Feb issue called lagging body parts by Ronnie Coleman.

mine as well, but all the books do say this, maybe we extend way to far? its us man! lol

i fully extend on dumbell preachers & its just painful for me biceps is a body part that burns all throughout my workout

Priest is right, the shape is the shape, it is genetic. But if you make the muslce larger it will appear to be longer. You may want to try concentration curls, they easily allow for a full extension. Make sure you keep you elbow rested on the inside of your leg, and not sitting on the top.

Preacher or "Scotts Curls", same thing. It got the name Scotts curls because of Larry Scott the First Mr. O who was know for his bicep "length" and fullness who credited that specific exercise. I agree partially with the genetic point of view, but maybe sometime we just need a different exercise to reach our "full" genetic potential.
