PMs are turned off

PMs were disabled because so many scammers were using them. They were sending Pms to so many people, and I was getting to many complaints. Also, everyone wants to use them for source checks etc. If it isn’t for the board, please use email. All the members who have not chosen to hide their emails can be contacted by email. Just click to send them a mail instead of PM. This will lower the sites bandwidth and also limit the scammers from hanging around here. I was getting sick of tracking them down through PMs. Now it will be much easier to get rid of them.

That's always the way. You offer something nice to the members and a few a$$holes have to screw it up for everybody else. It's a shame, but I can see why you had to do it.

The good ole private messages are not realy that private
anyhow are they? Just doesnt seem they could very secure?
I agree... Email is still the best way
