maybe it was by accident. all notify mails give you the otion to "unsubscribe ALL threads" at the botom of the email. just click it and you will be unsubscribed. notification is off by default, maybe it was clicked by accident?

Naaa I got the email first which Hyped me here. You have to reply to a thread before you could subscribe to it.
